Last two weeks = Blur.

Edit : make that four weeks!

I took a few days off to catch up with admin (working on my shed) and sort out a few loose ends.

Good news 🗞️ – found myself the business partner I wanted! The one I needed. More on that AFTER the partnership agreement has been done and dusted.

Good news 🗞️ – celebrated my 20th wedding anniversary. It gave me time to reflect and realise how fortunate my wife really is. Wow! She’s extremely fortune. You see back when I got married. It wasn’t as easy as just finding a bird you like and putting a ring on it. You’d have to really do your homework on the future in laws beforehand. You knew full well that the brothers and cousins are coming for you to spill blood 🩸

Hair raising days for sure but it sorted out the men from the boys (looks back in a warped sense of nostalgia).

I realised negotiating my own marriage to a hostile future father in law was the pinnacle of my achievements. I now know what billionaires feel like when they are done spending. What next? 🤷🏽‍♂️

Meh news 🗞️ – Went to Glasgow. Had thoughts of walking around taking pics and writing about stuff I found interesting. It was wet, rainy and incredibly miserable. So I drove straight home and sulked for a day.

Bad news 🗞️ – The next day someone spoke down to me. I bit back. A little harder than I intended to. Then I felt bad. Called and made up. We are on the way to becoming besties 🤓

Even worse news 🗞️ – Friday last week, finally I’m in Wales. Happy days right? Naaa it’s wet and windy plus my gearbox decided it no longer needs 5th gear.

Good news 🗞️ – My van insurance premium went down by £300 😳

Good news 🗞️ – new gearbox l fitted this week along with some other associated gubbins. Sadly my van still smells of ‘mechanics’.

Awesome news 🗞️ – The last job of the day took me from Cardiff right through the spine of Wales and into a town called Machynlleth. Oh my god the views were spectacular. I veered off the sat nav route here and there (because I know better) and found some cracking roads. Now I need to come back on the 🏍️. This is the place where Laura Ashley’s first shop was.

So, do you need a courier who woo’s his own wife? Me neither 😁
