Blackpool – It’s not fair!

Yesterday, was a bit weird. First of all it was super cold again.

I then found myself somewhere in Gloucestershire admiring some spectacular winter greenery 😍😍. However with my self imposed targets not met it meant I wasn’t able to mooch around. With work being quiet I decided to head home so I can do more admin.

That was until a quote for a job offered by a firm who simply ‘get’ communication (what a godsend 😇) was accepted collecting from a place located in the most stunning part of Stroud I never knew existed to the north just shy of Blackpool.

By the time I’d dropped off via zig zagging across the road network to avoid folk and their crashes it was time for gym, dinner and walk. In that order.

Now listen.

Their air temp was 7 degrees c. I could vaguely describe it as warm. I couldn’t believe how ‘lovely’ the weather is up here. I sent selfies next to the sea to my own wife. Even she couldn’t believe how ‘warm’ it is up here.

Can you believe the variance in temperature around the country on a single day? I can 🤓

A short stroll ended up as a very long one. Blackpool is strange without tourists and life.

Like a ghost town. Shutters down, lights off with an eerie vibe about the place. Some of the people walking around with their hoods up moved almost zombie like. I decided it is best for me to leave now. I’ve got a book I need to finish listening to for the drive back.
