Tolerance!

We all have a degree of tolerance and it’s always finite. Some allow much flexibility whilst others have little.

You know what I’m finding very difficult to tolerate?

Crap communication.

In my game there really isn’t much to communicate (in the grand scheme of things). Yet what does need to be communicated is extremely important.

Say for example there’s something rather valuable that needs to be collected. It needs to be delivered to a named person only. Yet their contact number would be wrong. Or the address is rather vague. Or nobody has actually communicated exactly what it is that needs to be collected/delivered.

Fixing this mess can be embarrassing. Actually, that’s a lie. It IS embarrassing.

I get it.

Offices are busy and folk are rushed off their feet. Phone calls, emails and meetings are going on left, right and centre.

It’s easy to miss something crucial or make a slight error. We are all human after all and we all make mistakes. Yet I have not come across many people who take ownership and deal with their mistakes.

Too many firms (big and small) that just leave it to the drivers to deal with.

For example this was the case very recently. A urgent call for a laptop that’s being collected from a regional office and sent to another regional office. Yet nobody actually tells the receptionist, the post room or even the delivery driver who it is for? The only people that know are the sender. Sometimes even the receiver doesn’t know! Really?

Come on….

Don’t do that. You’re messing around with your customers and believe me they are aware. Take a deep breath and take ownership 😉.

So, do you need a courier who struggled to tolerate cba’ness? Are you frustrated by it all? I can’t fix the world’s communication, but I can guarantee you won’t get that particular headache from me. Get in touch https://frigate-express.co.uk/contact-us
